Robertson was originally appointed as project manager for the modular construction of the hotel but, through our performance, Vastint also awarded us the fit-out contract. In the five years since we've handed over three more hotels to the value of £29.5m:
- Moxy Glasgow Merchant City, 181 beds, completed 2018
- Moxy Chester, value £9.5m, 194 beds, completed 2020
- Moxy Glasgow SEC, 213 beds, completed 2021
Maximising value through off-site construction
Optimising modular construction gives our customers the certainty they need over cost, time and quality. We used Vastint's innovative modular construction technique which covers the design, fabrication, transportation and assembly of all guest rooms. This includes structure, walls, complete bathrooms, room finishes and fit-out, as well as services including fire protection – providing multiple benefits including an accelerated build period, enhanced quality due to rigorous testing and increased safety on site.
