We have submitted a planning application for a £40m development at Dundee Waterfront. The submission, made to Dundee City Council on Robertson's behalf by architect Cooper Cromar, propose a hotel, flats and offices on a 5,940 m site next to the new V&A museum.

Dundee Waterfront is home to a £1bn regeneration project along 8km of the River Tay.
Our plans for Site 6 are proposing to build 88 apartments across two six-storey buildings and a 150-bed hotel. Robertson Construction is hoping to move onto site in September 2017 and complete in phases up to summer 2019.
The inclusion of four floors of open-plan office space will have the potential to accommodate a number of uses including technology, professional services, financial services, public sector organisations and call centres.

He added that the hotel will help meet the forecast demand for accommodation in the central Waterfront as growing numbers of visitors and tourists come to Dundee.

The site is located on land originally claimed from the Tay in the early 1800s. The remainder of site six covers the former Earl Grey Dock, which existed between the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s.
