It’s always enjoyable taking groups of school students on-site and showing them how our homes are built.

Colin Souter, Development Manager

The pupils were treated to an access-all-areas tour by Colin Souter and Construction Manager Jim Smith (Jim is pictured here with Jessica Williamson and Evie Collins).

Colin continued: “For most, it will be the first time they have ever been in a construction site environment. So we can educate them, not just on the construction process, but also on the dangers of construction sites and not to see them as ‘adventure playgrounds’. All the children were eager to learn and asked lots of interesting questions. As a local business celebrating our 50th anniversary, it is exciting to think that the children who visited Hamilton Gardens may have parents or grandparents who have lived or are living in a Robertson home”.
