We score a hat-trick at the CCS Awards!
Three of our projects were honoured in Edinburgh in April's National Site Awards, a leading industry ceremony operated by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Three of our projects were honoured in Edinburgh this week at the National Site Awards, a leading industry ceremony operated by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The first was the £120m development of a new distillery and visitor experience in Moray for The Macallan. The landmark project - which received a Silver award - is being led by Robertson Major Projects.
The other two projects were in the education sector, with Robertson Central winning Silver for its work on North Uist Primary School and Robertson North East England winning Bronze for Harelaw Primary School.
COO Derek Shewan said: We are firmly committed to the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and to win awards for three distinct projects is a real honour."
In 2015, we received Associate Membership status with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Recognised across the industry as a beacon of best-practice, the Considerate Constructors Scheme was established by the construction industry to improve its image.
Registration with the Considerate Constructors Scheme requires us to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
The scheme focusses on any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole.
As an Associate Member, we register all of our sites with the scheme; agree to work to the highest standards of consideration to the general public, the workforce and the environment; and help promote the scheme and its aims.
Congratulations to the award-winning teams on their excellent work in helping us achieve these goals!
