Trade or modern, this is a full-time, paid role where you’ll work towards an industry-recognised qualification and develop skills and experience with on-the-job training. 

Trade apprenticeship

Overview

Start date: August 2025 – roles are advertised in February and March with interviews in May.

Entry requirements: minimum National 4 or GCSE equivalent in English and maths.

Duration: 4 years.

Typical roles: joinery, electrical, engineering, bricklaying and building services.

Yes, you’ll earn a salary, accrue holidays and enjoy some great benefits throughout your apprenticeship. 

Everything is geared towards your professional and personal development. Depending on your role you’ll work on a live site or be office-based. Whichever it is, you’ll build strong and relevant skills through hands-on work experience and support from a hugely experienced team.

  • Earn while you learn.
  • Structured work experience and fully-funded study.
  • Work towards a Vocational Qualification (VQ) and college-level qualifications.
  • Up to 33 days’ holiday.
  • Free membership of the Association of Apprentices.
