Founded in 1966 by Sir Bill Robertson, our business is now in its second generation of family leadership. Our plans for long-term growth are underpinned by our strategic vision of assuring a sustainable future, for our employees, customers, partners and the communities where we work. 

Our structure makes us agile enough to react to changing markets, while our senior leadership take an active role in working in partnership with our customers.

From the beginning, Bill Roberson took a considered approach to his business; he was patient, responsible, always careful to understand the details, to put customers first, and to create the best possible outcomes.

Robertson built a trusted reputation for successful delivery that meant it could diversify, growing in a sustainable way. At the heart of every new venture was the insistence on getting the basics absolutely right.
