Our summer internship programme will give you a feel for what it’s like to work at Robertson and in our industry, and help you decide where want your career to go after university.

We're no longer accepting applications for our 2025 summer internship roles – look out for more opportunities next year.

Start date: June 2026 – roles are advertised throughout November with interviews in January and February. 

Duration: 12 weeks.

Typical roles: quantity surveyor, site manager, civil engineer and business support.

Description: A structured development programme with on-the-job training and three development days with fellow interns.

What to expect...

  • A structured learning programme with three in-person training days.

  • A simulation team activity to build business and employability skills. 
  • Complete a learning portfolio to showcase your internship learning experience.

I think doing an internship is a great way to gain practical experience throughout your time at university. I have been able to use skills and knowledge from my university studies and develop them further by dealing with real life situations.
