Much-needed homes for one of the UKs largest brownfield developments
Robertson Partnership Homes has constructed 58 high-quality homes for social rent in Dargavel Village, on behalf of Loretto Housing Association, part of Wheatley Group.
The modern, spacious and energy-efficient new homes were delivered as part of the Renfrewshire Council's Strategic Housing Investment programme.
The area is part of a wider regeneration project covering the west of Scotland, with Dargavel Village one of the UK's largest brownfield development sites. BAE Systems is working closely with Renfrewshire Council to develop the 2,400-acre village, located on the site of a former Royal Ordnance Factory in Bishopton.

Innovating with modern methods of construction
Our sister business, Robertson Timber Engineering (RTE) designed and manufactured the timber kit off-site.
Our in-house design managers, designers and engineers collaborated to develop efficient designs focusing on quality and energy efficiency.
Using precast concrete foundations, spantherm floor panels, prefabricated structured timber kit, we significantly enhanced the project pre-manufactured value (PMV), saving time, improving efficiency and reducing risk on site.
Highly sustainable homes
We designed and constructed high-quality, well insulated, airtight homes that achieved performance criteria in excess of the building regulations. This, in conjunction with the inclusion of solar PV roof panels on all properties, will reduce ongoing energy costs for tenants.
The project has been supported by £4.6m Scottish Government grant funding with £3.9m from Loretto Housing Association.
