New social housing at Donside Village for Sanctuary Housing Association
Robertson has completed the build of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, situated in the former Donside papermill site, within the north central area of the City of Aberdeen. With a total of 61 new rental apartments for the local community.

Flexible design for future needs
Donside Village is comprised of three, four storey buildings consisting of one, two and three bedroom apartments. With associated access roads, parking and communal landscaping This projected consisted of building 61 high quality rental flats for local people, managed by Sanctuary Scotland.
Sustainability has been a key factor of the regeneration, with solar panels providing electricity to the flats, an electric vehicle club, and future plans to install electric vehicle charging points.
Accessibility is also an important aspect of the project, with the flats being designed to housing for varying needs standards.
The project was built in partnership with the Scottish Government and Aberdeen City Council and has received a Scottish Government grant award of £4.7 million.
