New social housing at Donside Village for Sanctuary Housing Association
Robertson has completed the build of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, situated in the former Donside papermill site, within the north central area of the City of Aberdeen. With a total of 61 new rental apartments for the local community.

Flexible design for future needs
Donside Village is comprised of three, four-storey buildings consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with associated access roads, parking and communal landscaping. A total of 61 high quality rental flats for local people, managed by Sanctuary Scotland.
Sustainability has been a key factor of the project, with solar panels providing electricity to the flats, an electric vehicle club, and future plans to install electric vehicle charging points.
Accessibility was also an important aspect, with the flats designed to cater for varying needs.
The project was built in partnership with the Scottish Government and Aberdeen City Council and received a Scottish Government grant award of £4.7 million.
