Phase 1 of the regeneration of Hamiltonhill
600
homes
5
parks
4
phases
Enabling works have started at our Hamiltonhill site, one of Glasgow's key regeneration areas, where we are delivering a new housing development for Queens Cross Housing Association.
In addition to the 177 social housing units being constructed in Phase 1, Urban Union will build a further 26 houses for sale. The homes are a mix of medium-rise flats and cottage flats for smaller households, and terraced housing for larger families. The entire development will deliver over 600 mixed-tenure homes over four phases, with five parks and a community garden.
Extensive community consultation took place to help shape the masterplan, with a focus group from the local community playing a key part in the planning process and provision of open space.
