Robertson FM powers forward with DONG Energy

Robertson Facilities Management has won a one-year contract with global offshore wind leader DONG Energy.

The deal will see Robertson FM deliver a combination of hard and soft FM services to DONG Energy's new offshore wind farm operations base in King's Wharf, Birkenhead. The operations base, which was constructed earlier this year by Robertson North West, serves both Burbo Bank and Burbo Bank Extension offshore windfarms which combined have enough capacity to power over 310,000 homes each year.

Commenting on the contract win, Ian Gibson, Managing Director for Robertson FM, said: "We are delighted to be providing a breadth of FM services to DONG Energy and I'm confident our experienced team will become an integral addition to the site at King's Wharf.

Robertson FM will deliver services including planned and reactive maintenance, property and building maintenance, minor works and project management, window cleaning and other specialist services.

The contract builds on Robertson FM's other recent successes, with contracts being secured with Tyne Coast College and Northumbrian Water Group.
