Silent auction raises funds for Charlie House

Robertson Homes is helping an RAF technician in Elgin to raise a significant sum of money to help children with disabilities.

North Sales Manager Jacqui McPherson and her team came up with the idea to hold a silent auction of furniture at a soon-to-be-sold Inverness showhome.

The day was a huge success with over 60 people visiting the showhome over the weekend to place bids. £1930 was raised, with all proceeds going to Corporal Neil Toner of RAF Lossiemouth, who is running the Inverness Half Marathon in aid of Charlie House in Aberdeen.

The sale provided a significant buzz on social media as well as prominent coverage in the Press & Journal and the Banffshire Advertiser, with more coverage expected when the cheque presentations are complete.
