Timber frame manufactured off site
Open panel timber frames, including wall panels, roof trusses and floor cassettes, are manufactured off site to precise specifications in our advanced timber engineering facility.
What are open panel timber frames?
Open panels are made in factory-controlled conditions, with all the of time savings, sustainability benefits and quality assurance that this brings.
Unlike closed panel timber frames, elements such as insulation, vapour control layers and windows are not pre-fitted. The panels are supplied in an open format, and erected by our experienced, qualified operatives.
Greatly reduced installation time
With our supply and erect service, open panel timber frames are delivered to site ready to go. Our experienced operatives can assemble an entire timber frame in one day.
Floor cassettes, structural panels, internal partition walls and the roof structure are all craned into place. The house or building can then be quickly made wind and water-tight, allowing other trades to move in, reducing overall build time. The efficiency of this process reduces site overhead, generating time and cost savings.
Maximise safety - minimise risk
As closed panel timber frames are fully manufactured off site, they require less labour to install. The need for scaffolding and working at height is reduced, minimising risk. We provide a full erection service, via our qualified, experienced operatives.
Technical and design support
We provide design support and technical expertise so that timber frames are designed and manufactured to precise specifications, so that they are ready to install as soon as they are delivered to site. Early engagement with us allows you to harness our capability in 3D modelling, fabrication drawings, and digital quality control.
