Pollokshaws Living, Glasgow

Urban Union delivered 137 new homes on a key regeneration site in the heart of Glasgow’s southside.

Completed in 2023, Pollokshaws Living was aimed at first-time buyers and growing families. Previously home to high and low-rise blocks, the development on the 5.47-acre site on Shawbridge Street provided a mix of high-quality two, three, four and five-bedroom terraced homes and one and two-bedroom apartments. The first homes were ready for new residents in summer 2021.

Cllr Kenny McLean, Glasgow City Council's City Convener for Neighbourhoods and Chair of Transforming Communities: Glasgow, said: "Urban Union has a great track record in the city, having delivered a fantastic development at Laurieston TRA, and this is another investment in building the kind of vibrant and sustainable neighbourhoods that are transforming our city."
