New directors for Robertson in Yorkshire & East Midlands

Robertson Construction Yorkshire & East Midlands has made two senior appointments, promoting Sean Woodcock to Operations Director and appointing Ben Brown as Commercial Director.

With a geographic spread across Yorkshire and the East Midlands, Sean and Ben will support the business in delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, research and social care sectors.

Current projects include the £19m Bradford Royal Infirmary Endoscopy Unit, multimillion pound RAAC replacement work for Airedale Hospital, a £20m Extra Care Scheme in Cleckheaton, and a £10m Engineering & Life Sciences Facility at Chesterfield College.              

Sean joined Robertson a year ago as Operations Manager, bringing with him over 20 years of industry experience, with roles including Project Director at Buckingham Group and Project Manager at Miller Construction.

Ben comes to Robertson from BAM. Following an apprenticeship with Shepherd Construction he joined BAM, progressing from Trainee Surveyor to Commercial Manager over the course of 24 years. 

Speaking on his appointment, Sean said: “Stepping into the role of Operations Director gives me the chance to build on the strong progress made in the past year. I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers, supply chain and wider team to continue to deliver high-quality projects across a range of sectors.” 

On taking up his role, Ben said: “I’m joining Robertson at an exciting time, with a strong pipeline, new projects underway, and an expanding portfolio of key customers. This opportunity is a great one and I look forward to building on this success.”
