Robertson Construction Group was awarded the RoSPA International Dilmun Environmental Award on Tuesday 14th May 2024, at the annual RoSPA Awards in London. The prestigious award, that is competed for across all international industry sectors, is bestowed upon a business that demonstrates the best practice in environmental sustainability management.

Following a careful judging process, assessors identify a shortlist of the top-scoring entries for the award, which is then reviewed by a separate expert judging panel of environmental professionals appointed by RoSPA. Businesses are assessed on their vision, mission, and values in connection with environmental sustainability principles as part of the judging process.

Robertson holds ISO 14001 accreditation and became one of the first UK businesses in the built environment to achieve carbon neutrality in 2018. It has since become a ‘climate positive’ business with a rigorous environmental management system in place, Robertson also uses renewable energy and HVO fuel on its sites.

Earlier in the day, both Robertson Construction Group and Robertson Facilities Management received the RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety performance.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Robertson Construction Group has received the RoSPA Gold Award, in recognition of the importance the business places on the health and safety of employees, customers, supply chain members and the wider community.

Robertson Facilities Management upholds the same high standards and has recently completed 3 million collective hours worked without a reported RIDDOR incident.
