Robertson has delivered a new, high capacity Covid-19 Lighthouse laboratory at Baltic Park in Gateshead, as part of the NHS Test and Trace programme.

The lab is managed by The Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and had investment from The Department of Health and Social Care. It is the first of its kind in the UK. The purpose-built facility analyses test results on state-of-the-art equipment and initially serve the north east, Cumbria, Yorkshire and Humberside as part of an integrated Covid hub.
